2 minutes Face and Neck Exercises when You Need a Break

Face and neck exercise aim to strengthen and relax the muscles to enhance tone and functionality. According to a study published in the Journal of the Anatomical Society of India, certain facial exercises may help improve facial muscle tone and increase blood circulation to the face, resulting in a more youthful appearance. 

So go ahead, relax on your meditation cushion, light some incense, and try these simple exercises: 

The Brow Smoother: Put your fingers on your brow and softly brush them outwards towards your temples. Continue this motion numerous times, concentrating on smoothing out any creases in your brow.

The jaw release: Lightly press your tongue to the roof of your mouth, then open your mouth slowly releasing your jaw as much as possible and making an O shape with your lips. Maintain this position for a few seconds before closing your mouth slowly. Repeat several times to assist relieve jaw muscular strain.



Swan Neck Stretch: Move your gaze to the upper right about 45 degrees, and then turn your head in the same direction. Pucker your mouth and move it to the right while feeling the stretch on the left front of your neck. Hold for 5 seconds. Come back to the center and repeat on the opposite side.
