Our Philosophy & Values
Ethically Driven
As strong believers in Ahimsa (no harm), we:
- Use local all-natural and locally grown organic resources (buckwheat hulls, lavender buds, lemongrass)
- Reclaim forgotten materials (end of rolls, upcycled fabric, fallen trees and driftwood.
- Create products in small batches to reduce waste and carbon footprints
- Employ local women at fair wages in an environment that thrives on respect and kindness
- Source products such as Mysore yoga Rugs , yoga mats, and cork products from companies that align with our ethos and values of fair trade and ethical practices
- Plant trees for every sale through treenations.org
- Donate a portion of our sales to nonprofit organizations. So far, we supported NewLeaf Foundation, Black Women in Motion, Black Legal Action Centre, One Girl Can,Second Harvest, Breast Cancer Canada, Heart & Stroke Foundation Canada, and Charity Water
- Offer community yoga classes and workshops. We have supported studio 89,Streetsville Square, college student residents, and senior programs
Sustainability Focused
We believe you deserve the best and so does mother earth. We:
- Endorse a zero waste policy that repurposes resources when creating our products and reuse our own scraps in every way possible (check our Scraps Collection and affirmation hearts)
- Use postcards that are made of seed paper
